Other UX/UI Projects

Highlights from other UX/UI work I’ve done across different products and platforms.

Over the years I’ve worked on many different UX/UI projects, each with its own challenges and focus. Here are a few representative examples, starting with the redesign of Redbox’s online Help Center.

The goal was to strengthen the Help Center as the first stop for customer care — clearer navigation and a cleaner interface encouraged self-service and reduced support demand.

NetWise & QuickLink

At Smith Micro, I also worked on two key product lines for mobile operators. NetWise, a suite of apps for smart Wi-Fi offloading and connection management, and QuickLink, a family of connection managers that made getting online more seamless. My role was to contribute to the UX and refine usability and expand features across these products during later production stages.

Device
Management

At Smith Micro, I led the UX for Device Management from its early portal version to the full Enterprise DM suite. The challenge was balancing complexity and modularity with ease of use — designing flows and wizards that made mobile fleet management tasks like app installs, policy enforcement, tracking, wipes, and even custom scripted actions simple to execute.

Other UX/UI Projects

Over the years I also worked on a number of other products: a restaurant discovery, rating, and couponing app created before Google Maps expanded into that space, and a photo sharing app developed before Instagram. I also enhanced StuffIt at Smith Micro, designed UIs for a phone updater that later evolved into Device Management, a Wi-Fi wizard that became NetWise, and a Symbian phone dialer… and more.
